The Role of the Organizational Environment in Improving Job Skills: A Case Study of Public Universities in Al-Jazira State (2025)

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of the organizational environment in improving job skills, with application to public universities in Al Jazirah State. The study problem was represented by the main question: What is the role of the organizational environment in improving job skills in public universities in Al Jazirah State? The main hypothesis of the study stated that there is a statistically significant positive relationship between the organizational environment and the improvement of job skills. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach, and a questionnaire was designed to collect the required data. The valid questionnaires accounted for 97.05% of the total distributed questionnaires. The most important finding of the study was that there is a statistically significant positive relationship between the organizational environment and the improvement of job skills. The study recommended that university administrations should disseminate the applicable policies and procedures among employees in order to enhance their sense of security and job stability.
