Digital Transformation as a Driver for Combating Corruption and Ensuring Sustainable Economies for Nations

This study examines the dialectical relationship between the prevalence of administrative and economic corruption and the prospects for achieving sustainable development, focusing on the pivotal role of modern digital technologies as a tool for mitigation. The research problem lies in the adaptability of corruption within traditional systems, necessitating radical technical solutions. Utilizing a descriptive-analytical approach, the study explores the mechanisms of automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Blockchain technology in eliminating the sources of bribery and nepotism. The findings indicate that digitalization contributes to reducing financial waste by 15-20% when applied to government procurement, as evidenced by the experiences of Saudi Arabia and Estonia. The study recommends bridging the digital divide and updating legal frameworks to keep pace with emerging cyber-crimes, emphasizing that digital integrity is the cornerstone for restoring trust in public institutions.
